A fire was reported at security checkin counter at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose airport in Kolkata. Visuals shows flames are up and security peoples are helping poeple to evacuate.
Situation is under control as 3 engines reached made situation under control.
Officials added short circuit as the reason for fire. Officers told their is very rush of peoples the Colling process started as soon as the fire came in control.
The Kolkata airport said the fire at the check-in area has been fully extinguished and all the passengers have been safely evacuated. The check-in process was suspended for an hour till 10:25 pm and the arrival of flights was not affected.
